Father,

We thank you that we can come to You as Our Father, Who wants to hear and answer our prayers.

We want Your kingdom to come today in our lives. May Your Spirit fill us to overflowing. We ask that Your will be done in us today, immediately and without question, just as it’s done in heaven. Help us to hear You clearly and give us grace to obey whatever You ask us to do. May Your will, and Your will alone, be done in our lives today. Help us to submit and surrender ourselves as completely as we know how to do.

We ask, Father, that You meet every need in our lives today. We realize that we don’t always know what we need, but we have faith and trust in You, that You always know what is best and right for us and we want nothing less. We are counting on You.

Examine our hearts, Father, and show us what we must confess. We want our fellowship with You to remain unbroken. Don’t let us get away with hiding unforgiveness or any other sin from ourselves. Help us to face every sin as sin, to agree that we’re wrong, and confess.

And Father, we ask that You lead us not into temptation. Please don’t put us to the test today. Deliver us from Satan and grant us Your victory in Christ, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory for ever and ever. In Jesus’s name, amen.
