Father, Most High, help us live in the shelter of Your presence. Almighty God, come near that we may rest in Your shadow, for, Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in Whom we trust.

Keep us safe from Satan; cover us so completely with Your feathers, that no evil spirit can find us. Shelter us beneath Your wings. Let Your faithfulness be our shield and rampart, for in You there is no shadow of turning. You are the same yesterday, today, forever. Because of You we’re not afraid of Satan, we’re not worried that He will influence our thoughts -- for we ask Your precious Spirit to bring our thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ.

Help us today -- and every day -- to choose You as our dwelling, our refuge. Let no harm befall us, no disaster come near our tent. Father, enlarge our tents to shelter those who have none of their own. Use our prayers to release Your presence and Your power in their lives.

Give Your angels command concerning each of us, to guard us in all our ways; let them lift us up so that our feet will not strike against a stone. Help us to sense when Satan is near, that in the strength of Your Word, we may trample the lion and serpent.

Father, help us to love You with all our hearts, and to be people of prayer, that You may say: "Because they love Me, I will rescue them; I will protect them, for they acknowledge My name. They will call upon Me, and I will answer them."

Lord, be with us in trouble, that every trial may make us more like Christ. Take us home when we’ve accomplished Your will and purpose, to meet our Savior face to face, and we will be fully satisfied.
